Jim is celebrating his 40th year of service to the bowling community of Holland, now a merged association. Prior to Holland’s merger, Jim served in various positions for the men’s association in that city.
He has also served on the State Men’s Association board which included service as its president. He is once again currently serving on the BA board having been recently re-appointed a director.
Since merging 10 years ago, Jim has served as Greater Holland’s association manager. Words taken from recommendation letters describe Jim as caring, concerned, very organized and professional. Most importantly, fun to work with.
Jim recently retired from the Holland Fire Department after volunteering for 40 years! That will give him more free time to golf as well as bowl!
Congratulations Jim, the Michigan State USBC WBA is proud to present you with the Manager of the Year Award for a merged association for 2016.
